PS4 radically reduces the lag time between players and their content. PS4 features “suspend mode” which keeps the system in a low power state while preserving the game session. The time it takes today to boot a console and load a saved game will be a thing of the past. With PS4, gamers just hit the power button again and are promptly back playing the game at the exact point where they left off.

I'm afraid that what happened this gen may repeat itself with MS. I'm not entirely convinced that MS will devote most of their resources to making AAA titles for the nextbox THROUGHOUT its product life cycle. I'm sure MS will continue to release established Xbox titles and possibly a couple new IPs near launch, but will they continue to do so? that's the real question

I think it would be great if Sony somehow allowed PS3 games to be registered on the PS4 and then streamed via Gaikai for free.

Also to says ''whats wrong with always online?'' is beyond me. Not only are they're gameplay issues concerning it, but what if MS start to ban users based on foul play, will all your games be locked off? (considering rumors of games having to be installed) Any way you look at it, it doesn't look good.
There will always be a place for Nintendo in the games market so long as there's casual fans willing to buy one they will stay in business.
Just because Wii u is seeing poor sells right now it doesn't mean they're in trouble. It simply means that most of they're sells are being made on the Wii(Nintendo are still getting paid).
