Normally I try to avoid MMOs as to not get addicted, but I really love the looks of this game. I'd be worried the combo of Final Fantasy and MMO might be too addicting.
I was lucky enough to be in the beta myself and it is definitely a fun and addicting game!

Nice write up. I too struggle with the journalism/gaming/life balance. My job as a web developer pays the bills and provides resources to run my site, but its full-time. I have recruited several friends to voluntarily write for Str, this helps a great deal. We write about what we love and that works for us. Good luck in your journalism ventures :)

Indeed too much focus on boobs leads to less focus on more important aspects. I'm not saying female characters need to be wearing burkas, just don't focus so much on sex selling a game. It's like how blowing a movies budget on CG alone will not make it a good movie.
I agree wholeheartedly, I want to see more games like Bushido Blade and Tenchu. If I want porn i'll google some, when I play a video game I want to actually play the game.
I'm not in any rush to get a PS4. I will probably get it when my PS3 starts failing. Even then I might get it repaired.
