This looks so fantastic. Definitely in contention for best sports game of the year.
aside from that tablet thing thats buzzing on the internet, they will probabl reveal their plans for entering the gaming industry with their all new video game console. its gonna be sweet!
GOOD. Games need to get back down to the $50 price point of old-gen. It made sense when 360 and PS3 launched that the new games would be 60, but that was nearly 5 years ago and our economy is in the tank... if games get reasonable again, i see it working out for game publishers as well, people will just buy more.
as a owner of only an xbox 360, i am honestly tired of these franchises. neither the idea of gears III nor halo reach has me excited.
i'm clearly in the minority though. My most anticipated shooter is bad company 2. most anticipated exclusive is alan wake, and my overall most excited about red dead redemption.
True, but you can't help but be impressed with the response time. I've heard lots of people claim it was laggy but that looked pretty sharp to me.
and an fps can totally be done with natal. Move your left hand forward or back, side to side to move your characer (just like the left thumbstick) and use your right open hand to aim, close your hand to shoot.
L4d2 and mass effect 2 will carry me over to BAD COMPANY 2 just fine :)
Wow, with this new mode i can honestly see this game gaining a lot of MW2's crowd.
I cannot wait for this one!
Yeah, probably, but things aren't going to be so bad on the 360 side either :) i'm so excited for 2010, gaming-wise.
that halo 3 video made me really sick. those people are terrible
bioshock 2 :P
those of you that think MS won't compete are completely biased. If they sense they losing the market (which they are now) they are going to do something drastic and pull out the big guns. This move makes a lot sense.
gamers win!
a compelling story or inciting action is always more important.
take assassins creed II for example, yeah the cities look fantastic and detailed, but if i weren't running around chasing someone, i'd be bored with the environments.
Fallout 3 did a great job in creating an expansive and intricate virtual world
i fully agree with this blog post.
Please please please make an open world Pirate RPG. And make it good!
the gameplay mechanics of sailing and sword fighting needs to be top notch as well.
On todays consoles they could make the oceans HUGE since its just a constant water render, not pre loaded stuff that takes up a lot of space, like all the land in Fallout. That way the islands can be very very detailed
I am a 360 owner, and honestly, i'm glad to hear MS is feeling the pressure because i am sick and tired of how expensive they try and make their stuff.
Competition is good thing, i'm excited to see what benefits 360 users will see in response to the rising popularity of the ps3.
i hate those controllers though :P
Man, this game as SO MUCH POTENTIAL. i"ve been wanting a game like this for a while.
If only Bethesda and Rockstar were teaming up to make this game! LOl, that'd be too good.
But Turok was pretty lackluster so i wont get my hopes up, hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I'll definitely be tracking this one!

Backbreaker wins hands down.
Its been so incredibly satisfying following this game for 3 years.
I've watched the public opinion of this game go from laughable in the beginning, to considerate, to full on fanboys.
Even the thickest of madden-heads are starting to see the freshness BB is going to deliver. Its so apparent when you compare those two trailers.
