My sole purpose for gaming is to play Gran Turismo. If GT5 were to be released on the 360, that would be the machine I'd buy. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it's a PS3 exclusive and judging by the way Prologue looks, the game is going to be fun. Will Forza 3 be better? Even if it does, it's still not GT (to me anyway). Besides my Logitech G25 wheel wouldn't work on the 360 (yes, I know there's the Fanatec wheel but I've already own a G25). Add to the fact that I can enjoy BD on my 1080...
It's still old news. Just because something is posted somewhere on a certain date, doesn't mean the info is up to date. If you're really a fan or racing game, you've got to be quicker in reporting your "news". I recommend going to the best source for Gran Turismo and sorry to tell you that Import Tuner ain't it. Hint: GTPlanet.
Guys at EG seems to have a preference towards the gfx characteristics of the 360. Also I always find the image comparison that EG posted in the shootout to be so different form what I get from my PS3 and my 1080p Sharp Aquos. Since graphics is quite subjective and EG is the last place I'd go for objective POV since they tend to skew their preference towards the 360.

Because I can afford it. Of course I can pay $20 for the Chinese made cable but I'd rather pay a bit more knowing that it is made here in North America- it just help me sleep better at night.
This only the first part of the Fall update. If you look at the news section in the game, I quote, "The free online update of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue to Gran Turismo 5 Prologue Spec III has begun." "Begun" being the keyword.
This is the first of the update leading to the full spec III for GT5P. I wouldn't count out damage as being part of the update but personally I'd rather have new tracks, better penalty system (to simulate damage), private lobby, voice chat. I don't think you can expect any more than that considering that GT5P is, after all, a glorified demo.
You're obviously not a die-hard GT fan. On the other hand, I've spent over a grand just to play this game: a Logitech G25 steering wheel ($250), a Sharp Aquos 32" 1080p LCD ($1000), HDMI cable ($100), Headphones ($300), 2 copies of GT5P ($80). And it's worth every penny I've spent. And of course, a PS3 ($400).
I guess dev figures that if you're stupid enough to buy a microsoft product, you'll be just as stupid into buying the overpriced Special Edition package (although I have to admit I did buy the SE GTA IV although never a MS product).
His 360 webt the way of RROD- being the champion that he is, he went and bought PS3 instead.
I know a lot of "straight" boys who loves getting fu**ed up the ass so this is right up their alley.
He only says that it's easier to extract a better performance from the 360 than the PS3 but if the dev understands and use not only the GPU but the cell processor on the PS3, it has the potential to be much better than wht 360 is capable of producing.

Proves that women's place is in the kitch... oops. You know what, although I bought this game, I found that that Metal Gear Solid ain't my thing but I still can see how brilliant the game is. It's so easy to write a bad review through laziness and seems to me that these girls are (lazy).
I played the demo and to me it's worth the $40 (and then some more).
remember COD4 only get a 9.4 from GTTV (and 8.0 for story). Certainly lower than Halo3 but guess which was the GOTY. Certainly not Halo3. I think all this talk about GOTY is a moot point since it pretty obvious that GTA IV is going to get it.
The screen tearing (v-sync) is worst in the San Francisco race. Because the problem Codemaster admitted there was a problem in the PS3 released demo.
Don't get me wrong- my problem isn't with Codemaster, GRID or any games out there that get good reviews only to be discovered later to have inherent technical issues.

Seems like everyone is giving it a 9/10 while ignoring the technical flaws in the game: the frame-rate and screen tearing issue on the PS3. the racing could've been good had the driving been spot on but on the demo, the car seems to float with no weight to it all. so you have no idea when your car is about to spin out. what AI there is, is there to win at all cost, so you car get banged from all sides and. The graphics is good but not as good as the screenshots released earlier in the year. since i can't drive this with my G25, I'd probably let this one go by.
I have GRID and while it's a nice little arcade diversion, the horrible physics and the fact that I can't get my G25 wheel to work with it, makes it an okay racer. I still play GRID once in awhile but Prologue have kept me entertain for the last 6 months and that's hardly a scam.
