Only if the newer system has backwards compatibility. PS4 doesn't so it's worth it to keep the PS3 now cause I don't want to re-buy games that I already have.
It looks terrible. Also, at the 30 second mark the game starts reminding me of The Armour of God intro.
Too bad price hiking and a bunch of DLC/online pass garbage will ruin the game to the point where I don't want it anyway. Besides, if I get a PS4 then the only shooter I'll need for at least a year & a half would be the new Killzone.
I know who Lara Croft is but the girl in this game is Lora Craft. Lara Croft is a Tomb Raider. Lora Craft is some weak girl playing adventurer that hates tomb raiding and likes putting a clip of ammo into a person while shooting animals for XP.
I hope they allow us to change it back to the XMB. I don't want to be browsing the PS Store-like layout every time I turn on the console. I would also want wallpaper to customize it and that's pointless with what they're using for the PS4.
If you like Call of Duty and just shooting people then you'll like this fake Tomb Raider with Lora Craft. They added more characters that people don't want. Why did they even bother releasing more DLC for this dead game? Give the IP to a talented studio that didn't just start up and have them change everything about it from the name to the mechanics and even change characters to the ones people want. This game flopped so it's time to stop trying to milk what can't be saved by DLC. I wanted the game to be good but it's not.

Yes because Sony doesn't drop support for their old consoles just because another one comes out. PS4 also doesn't have backwards compatibility so that just makes the PS3 support even stronger.

It getting a 8/10 before the game releases is obviously because of the NDA with people getting it early. That's one of the stipulations of getting the game early, you can't give the game lower than a 8/10. Once the game actually comes out and people see how terrible it is you'll start seeing the true (low) scores.

There is no point. The game flopped, hardly anyone plays it anymore, and PS4 isn't backwards compatible with PS3 games so this is good as dead.
Not to mention the 2 characters are garbage obscure characters that come from mediocre games that nobody bought.
People can't enjoy both games because "Tomb Raider" isn't a Tomb Raider game. So you can't have the best of both worlds. Instead you can only have the best of 1 world and mediocre time in one that tries to clone the other instead of sticking to its roots.
They need a spin-off with Akiba that takes place after MGS4 and make it a stealth game. Have it us the MGS4 engine or something close to that and keep the stress meter as well as the enemy AI being able to smell you. Have the stress play a bigger part in this game and while in stealth if you're stress gets too high (which it will randomly and you'll have things you can do or use to calm yourself down a bit) then you'll crap yourself which could alert the guards.
