It's not really a series of "Souls" games. Demon's Souls was great but the dark souls games looked terrible in comparison. I didn't even bother with those. Hopefully PS4 will be getting Demon's Souls 2 to continue the story. I wouldn't call it a series considering they're different games and they're nothing like each other aside from certain things like "souls" and the fog doors which devs threw in just to try and cash in on the previous game wh...
Square-Enix isn't going to win just because the push out another overrated Final Fantasy game. It's going to be even worse than FF13 considering it's really nothing but a Kingdom Hearts spinoff with "Final Fantasy" slapped on the front of it. The games haven't been good since FF9 and they don't know what they're doing with the franchise anymore.
Not to mention there will be A LOT of better developers at E3 who would easily win over E3 compare...
It's being published by Activision so that is enough to make me not buy it.
They were inspired by Mass Effect 3 so of course not. If anything it will be even worse than the 2nd Dragon Age. The series died after Origins so it could cater to all of the casuals that though Mass Effect was good.
If it really is exclusive then it will be Demon's Souls otherwise you can expect to see it on other platforms soon after release.
That confirms that I won't buy it. He has ruined MGS5 and it looks like he'll be ruining Mortal Kombat now too.
HOPEFULLY MGS5 will have Japanese voices unlike the overpriced demo. Now I'm gonna have to hope for Japanese voices in Mortal Kombat too.
I don't see why not. They've been releasing crappy movies lately with "the amazing spiderman" movies and the upcoming craptacular "fantastic 4" movie (even though only 3 of them are "fantastic" this time around).

I hope Project Beast is really inspired by Demon's Souls and not dark souls. Demon's Souls was awesome but dark souls just looked boring as hell. I'm hoping it really is Demon's Souls 2. That would make me want a PS4.
E3 will determine if I buy a PS4 or Xbox One (I'll be using a 720p TV to play on so resolution isn't a factor even if I do get a PS4).
If this is revealed to be Demon's Souls 2 at E3 then I'd likely buy a PS4 the next day (or at least the last day of E3).

I see nothing wrong with it. It gives Xbox gamers the best games while filtering out all of the garbage indie games. If they didn't have this in place then it would be nothing but a bunch of shovelware from indies that you see on PS4.
Of course the PS4 is maxed out. It was maxed out on release. The PS4 may be a next-gen console to console gamers but it's last-gen tech in general.

Yes. It's Metal Gear for casuals (basically what they were trying to do with Rising). This is yet another attempt at drawing in casuals with how easy it is to go through. Not to mention the terrible VA for "Snake". Unfortunately, Kojima wasn't smart enough to add Japanese voices in the overpriced demo.
