I still can't quite believe the show got a game, but at least it's a somewhat natural progression. I can't see how it'd be the same without the nerdy comments of the various historians, LARPers, etc. that heckle each other on the shows.
Well, the entertainment junkies, as was said before, will certainly pony up whatever it takes. That'll keep them alive until people start picking it up after prices drop.
I don't know, I think more people are still waiting for the virtual reality games we were promised 10-15 years ago, rather than this 3D stuff.
This new zone is absolutely gorgeous, and definitely looks to have an impressive quest line to go with it.
Killing sobs!
It's nice to see them branch out a little as an entertainment provider. Good way to get people in their store instead of holes like Wal-Mart.
I'm curious how many people will pick up NCAA 11 and Dragon Age though.
As much as I hate target's branding sometimes, it's a good store and these are great offers. Best part is, you get the card at the register when you check out- no mailing off and waiting 6-8 weeks for delivery.
Thumbs up for the 49ers.
Thumbs down for the Lambs.
Mmm free games...
Never been a fan of NFC East. Yawn.
Definitely a sweet edition. I want that pen.
Did you go out and hit some balls afterward and see if you were any better?
I just can't see a game really recreating a swing that well that it could transfer the skills to real life, or vice versa, mainly because you learn to "read" your pitcher and the signs a game gives you (or a real life pitcher gives you).
Does EA Sports get a plastic trophy if they predict right?
I might get suckered into this title.
This looks like they're trying to make a Sam & Max with mini-games. Maybe it's just the animation style.
It's nice that they're in talks, but I have a feeling this won't change the LIVE environment for the MMO industry trying to crack into consoles... I sense it'll be more the exception than the rule if they manage to work it out.
Interesting list. Nothing I have to disagree with, really, although I could probably name off lots more that deserve some attention.
Does a zombie duck's quack echo?
Most gamers either don't care, or are multi-platform owners. Sure, the fanboys exist and dwell in the basement of websites, and we joke about who "won" at E3, but the rest of us just live our happy gaming lives playing the games we want to - no matter the system.
He's got a good philosophy though; you're bound to succeed better if you focus on your own goals rather than trying to one-up your competitors.
Honestly, some of these are really issues they should have addressed before the game goes live. Typical MMO rush though - launch first, answer questions later.
It's going to have to be, or millions of fans will be after SOE's head.
