Because to me it always seems to make the game feel less personable. When you spend the game playing multiple people it makes it feel like your being fircefully shifted around from character to character and it makes games less enjoyable.

It's not a bad idea. It's allowing players to view another side of what COULD have happened to America. If people are offended by it then they don't have to play it, simple as that.
