Totally agree.
Homebrew apps and custom themes are just a by-product of pirating. Everyone knows that's what the real incentive is to hacking electronics. Free games. People just like to hide behind the homebrew excuse.
Who cares. He can call it whatever he wants, but the simple fact remains that he's trying to make it possible for people to be able to pirate games for free while other honest people work hard for their money to be able to play the same games.
I hope to God that if ever someone does fully hack the PS3, that the cost of blank Blu-Ray discs stays too expensive to ever justify pirating.
George Hotz, Just go away!
Well, what else do they have to play. Not surprising.
I see. Well, I was planning on buying a 3D television anyway, but thought I was good on the glasses. Oh well. My current hdtv is a 40 inch Sony xbr2. I'm gonna go bigger and get a 55 inch Samsung this time and move the Sony to my bedroom.
The cost of the glasses doesn't really bother me as I'll be the only one who uses the 3D function most of the time. If friends are over, 2D 1080p will be just fine.
Cant I just use the glasses I lifted from my "Avatar" viewing experience?
False alarm. Had to play the game long enough to earn a trophy before they all came back.
Where the fudge is my Bioshock 2 trophies!!!!!!???
Actually, your comment wasn't much smarter. Maybe he doesn't want to play without being able to earn trophies. I wouldn't.
I couldn't care less about cross game chat. All I want to have is the ability to leave voice mail messages instead of having to type everything.
"I make a promise that even if you have never played a Final Fantasy game, or even an RPG before then you will still be able to appreciate FFXIII with no difficulty. I hope that you will pick up and play it and experience the fresh and unique gameplay that is only possible with Final Fantasy!"
And with that last paragraph he told me everything I had suspected. Square-Enix isn't concerned about what us longtime Final Fantasy fans want. They're more concerned with attract...
The Alan Wake character sounds fine. It's the supporting cast that's awful. And I've played Heavy Rain. I know it's not the best voice acting either, but it's nowhere near as bad as this. Alan Wakes dialogue is written badly and the bad voice acting just amplifies it. It reminds me of a bad low budget horror movie. Here's an example, since you say you don't know where I get that it's bad.

Graphics= 8.5
Voice acting= 1.0
I think I'm just spoiled after Uncharted 2, but seriously, listening to every Alan Wake gameplay trailer so far has made me cringe.
Very late and Very WRONG!
"I guess if I had a point, it was to express surprise that people would go to lengths to defend the game against what was really quite a mildly critical piece. Well, except where I characterised the game as a 'charlatan,' I suppose."
So it surprises you that people would defend a game they love, but it's not supposed to surprise us that someone would write a critical article against a game that the majority of gamers love? Hmm, enjoy your 15 minutes, Sir.
While this is a nice webcam, it's certainly not the best. Logitech's "QuckCam AF" features 720p video and also feature a Carl Zeiss lens with motorized tracking. It also upscales still images to 8mp whereas the Microsoft LifeCam only upscales to 5mp.

It may look good, but the voice acting sucks. Totally unimmersive. I guess I'm just spoiled.

The author doesn't mention all the add-ons you have to purchase for the other "competing" consoles that you'd have shell out money on to give it close to the same functionality as the PS3(wi-fi and Bluray). She also doesn't mention that the controllers are rechargeable, instead she leads uninformed readers to think that the controller battery will die in the same short time that regular AA batteries do. I've had my original controller for 3 years and it's still working fine. Do some...
Are they using the Perfect Dark Zero engine?
