@ZBlacktt
Dunno why you got some disagrees.
It's a great way for DICE to say thanks to all of it's customers. I hope they keep up the good work. I can't wait to get my hands on this game.
Only issue in that train of thought Blacktar, is Destiny with 8,000 more pre-orders than Titanfall on the XBone. Both games are at least 9-12 months out. I'm also pretty sure Titanfall will do good, just thought it would be doing a lot better as the XBone flagship title so far to me.
Not mentioning the PS4 version of Destiny since Titanfall is a XBone exclusive.
That comment made me laugh. I don't know why companies just don't come out and say what really happened. I mean just say, "hey it's an XBone timed-exclusive because M$ offered EA a ton of money."
@ newmonday
I saw that too and was like whoa. Hopefully, people just aren't pre-ordering it since it's not scheduled to release until 2014. If not Titanfall is in for some trouble.
@tokugawa
Pre-orders usually show the general trend of what's hot and what gamers are more excited about.
The rest of those numbers aren't too surprising. I did figure Forza 5 & Titanfall would have higher pre-orders compared to Ryse.
The big thing would be did you sleep with Morrigan performing that ritiual at the end of DA:O, other things probably like when you went into the Circle Tower did you purge the Mages or save them, did you help Alistar become king, did the Champion side with the Templars or Mages, who did you take into your party ... etc
Funny thing as soon as I read this article, I thought to myself, "didn't he say BF4's graphics didn't look that good on the PS4." I now remember why I really stopped going to IGN.com.
You could say that again. I mean whatelse was he going to say? Nvidia was a better choice for the PS4 & XBone, but they went with us?
Problem with your logic is M$ didn't listen to the consumers. The consumers were saying no to the XBone vision after the reveal, and M$ didn't change their vision or policies. If they would have they wouldn't have waited until after E3 and the initial pre-order figures to start their 180's.
I would say they did imitate Sony's business model (Indie friendly, no DRM, it's a cable box, less iron fisted policies ... etc). If somebody is doing something r...
Sounds like what they did with the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2. Doesn't sound like a bad idea, hopefully I remember exactly what I did in the 1st 2 games. But, if I don't I can make the story even better.
Agreed, why go backwards and make an HD version of a FPS. Especially when you have it's sucessor already coming out.
I can't wait to play the remade Operation Metro, Caspain Border, Operation Firestorm and I think Oman maps. They showed a little of Metro and it's new destrucable environment looked amazing. Now all they need to do is add "levolution" and make the interior between B & C flags flood when you take out some of the ceiling.
This is for sure on my must have list. The game looks absolutely beautiful and fun.
Thanks for the pics. Not too bad, but good lord man that is a huge fan. M$ said RROD my a$$ this next-gen.
I agree it would be suicide for M$ to bring back their DRM policy. However, I would say technically M$ proved that DRM can be turned off and on. Why do I say that, DRM was a big part of the XBones R&D, so it was already a part of the consoles design. So every XBone will already have the technological capability of implementing DRM. They would probably have to release a software patch to turn it back on.
Make sure you read that TOS prior to checking that accept box.
Yea, that's why as technology advances chips get bigger because size = power.
Fortnite impressed me when it was first mentioned and then it died. I wonder what this game Rocket will be about? What type of FPS will we be getting?
Everybody keeps saying this system chip is huge, I want to see a picture of it inside the XBone. I guess it's better late than never for XBone to actually talk about the internal workings of the hardware.
It's honestly the only title I want to play on the XBone. That and maybe Forza 5. I doubt it will remain a M$ exclusive, since it's a title from EA. I'm more excited to play BF4 than any next-gen game.
I want to hear a Naughty Dog and Santa Monica announcement.
It's crazy we really haven't heard anything about the XBone BF4 version. Except the early release DLC, Second Assault.
What does the game look like, is it 1080p? How's it running, is it 60 fps? This is the same way DICE was with BF3 on the XB360.
@ minimur12
It probably would run on a WiiU, but I think DICE/EA/most 3rd party publishers don't think the WiiU has the sales to justify the cost for the game. Nintendo kills with it's 1st party software, but 3rd party publishers really don't sale.
BF4 will probably run in a resolution something higher than 720p, if DICE is saying it's comparable to "medium settings on PC." I also heard talk about upscaling to 1080p.
All in...
