Back then Disney had really great platformers.
I have a friend who did this with his kids some years ago and it actually worked, they developed a deep sense of gaming appreciating games of all eras. The really amazing part is they like older games sometimes more than the new ones and can be surprisingly critical.
It's incredibly fun listening to a 14 years old talking about SNES, MegaDrive and N64 games and what they think about them in comparison to today's games.
Children are one of the two ...
That's another way of saying: "we're planning for more and new innovative ways to take your moneys".

At that price tag it's not a watch anymore, it's called a Time Piece mind you.
Don't forget the music it is amazing.
I thought the same and that's what those journslists keep missing. Games copy from each other all the time and since the begining, GoW itself borrowed from games like Devil May Cry and Rygar but it is the excution that should also count and everything about this game was top quality.
Nice to see a fellow gamer who enjoyed the same rare gems.

The unfortunate thing is that at the time many reviewers were not kind to it because it did Castlevania differently and because it copied from God of War. i found those reviews sad because they missed a great game for stupid reasons. Same for Dante's Inferno.
One thing is for sure, we were the lucky ones 👍🏻
What a great game LoS was.
Very underrated game.
Part of why the Marvel movies are so successful is because the character casting in general was well received by most fans of the comics of all ages.

and "We Need" mind you.
She's like Ares from God of War and Ivy from SoulCalibur crossed pathes.
Thanks buddy. I hope those famous tournament players know how lucky they are for having the opportunity to shine. there are great players out there that don't have the chance to be known. Like we all say; there's always someone better, somewhere.
Anyway, good post and it deserve more attention in my opinion. Where are the original gamers?
I don't know about the game but those two were one of the best duos on the screen.
