Probably because making a good RPG is proving to be extremely difficult nowdays, as if all the imagination, creativity and.. magic in the industry is depleted and is replaced by greed and formulated products.
Square-Enix began banking on the Final Fantasy name since after FFX, basically by the time Sakaguchi left Square not a single FF game was on par with its predecessor except for the visuals. I'm not undermining the directors that came after, to be fair i'm sure they're doing their best but naturaly some are more creative than others and Hironobu was one of the brightest stars of the industry.
I believe FF7R has a real opportunity to set Square on a certain positi...
I don't see this as a problem. Basically all consoles are PCs.
@King_Noctis
I know, but the naming is a bit of a mess and it's a wasted opportunity to set the numbering straight if they're interested in this pattern. Beside, generational or not, the XB1X is a standalone new box with different specs so i think it counts. The S is Slim, exact same specs just more compact so it doesn't count. i assume you already know that.
Xbox
Xbox 360
Xbox One
Xbox One X
That's practically four consoles, they could've named it Xbox 5 but it seems Microsoft doesn't care about such pattern or it simply didn't cross their mind.
Look, not every one who doesn't agree with someone else is a hating zealot or is on the other side of the fence. Even if it will make sense later it's still a strange branding for a console, it sounds like an extreme sports show.
That's a mouthful of Xs.
It's disappointing that SoulCalibur is not having the attention it deserve.
It's a box alright. Didn't dig the name though, it sounds like a sports show.
I don't hate anybody, what i hate is deifying people.
I would've said it takes one to know one if i don't know myself, but not so sure about you though and i honestly don't give a damn
Here come the helmet polishing squad.
@mgszelda1 you missed the point completely but it's fine.
Polishing helmets.
@D__RAiL
Kojima made some really great games but he's not THE superstar of the industry. Gaming has known many superstars and some were more revolutionary and influential than he is.
I'm not taking from the guy, his works demand respect but he's not on the industry's highest pedestal and he is not a god by any measure.
I pitty the mentality behind such subjects. Sure we greatly appreciate and respect the devs works but forming cults and call them gods only reflects the immaturity and emptiness of their followers.
Live a meaningful life and don't get attached to things.
to you and some only.
lol it happened to me. it's one of those games that you have to give it before it gives you and once you do, it will grab you and leave you wanting.
my friend had the same issue within few minutes into the game, unfortunately I couldn't convince him to press on a bit longer.
if you're into this genre, don't miss out.
Likewise. Hollow Knight was amazing in every way.
I wonder what it will take to run on PC.
