70$ is expensive for any game, in my humble opinion.

If that's true then we would still be on 8-bit or less. This argument is old and tired, it boils down to this: great gameplay can make up for the lack of visuals, but no one with an honest opinion would say no to high quality visual fidelity.

Sometimes friends make good recommendations. some of the best games i played were recommended by my friends which at first i didn't like, and mocked even, only to kiss the forhead of the one who recommended it later. Some reviewers too are still trustworthy, like the guys at Digital Foundry, and there was a very good guy at Gamespot but he left a long time ago.

Once the Activision-Blizzard deal is settled, he'll make another statement on how important great games are to sell consoles.

The level of ignorance and hypocrisy in here is nothing short of disgusting.

It's amazing how many people here know what other parts of the world must and mustn't do, more so than the natives and of countries they have no idea of their whereabouts or their cultural history and background. To add more, all of a sudden the right and freedom of choice is no longer theirs because their standards and lifestyle are different, some even insulted them with the worst words e...

I'm with what you said, but you know that business is merciless and we're not the target customer once we cross a certain age, they know that our priorities change the older we get especially if we have families. So, we're out my friend, and it doesn't matter in who's terms because most certainly and inevitably, Time's terms rules all. It's hard to accept, but we must.

How old are you?

991d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

I'm on the track to being 50, if i lived. The truth is, entertainment in general is mostly targetted toward the youngs, this is the group that spends the most time and money without really counting. As we grow older, our priorities change and our lives become more complicated and full, time for gaming specifically become extremely limited and if we ever get the time, we try to play something that we can finish, mostly go back to the roots like platformers or other short and linear games. ...

How about Onimusha or Maximo, i believe these two games deserve a return.

I know what you mean. This is why me and my friends mainly played Soul Edge, Soulcalibur 1,2,4. Even when playing 6, we played it like the older ones, without using fancy supers, breakers, etc.

I don't mind that they experiment to keep things fresh, as long as they preserve the core gameplay.

Thousands of matches, countless nights, and beautiful memories. Soulcalibur is one the greatest games there is, but its best feat is that it gathered friends for some of the best times of their lives. I miss those days and i miss those friends.
