The Launch was so bad...back in 06...People where pissed, and made up there minds way back then-
I was one of the few that got a couple @ launch...there where alot of very angry people, when they found out the systems where`nt there(only shipped 250k)-
2-3 weeks later they started to trickle in-
Student`s could`nt afford a 599$ PS3-
And now that they are 399$ it`s still just out of reach-
only 10,000 units that sucks-
This is the way to sell systems-
Ohh the Rabid Socomers will enjoy their trophies-
The PS3 is built for the long haul-
we are all doomed...lol better have fun before it all ends..lol
I Think it all started with the PS3`s crappy launch-
Sony has pissed alot of people off...Done zero damage control.
M$ enjoys the Lion Share as does the developers for the 360-
Game Developers for the PS3 enjoy scrutiny, and Questions like is this Next Gen? cause Sony promised alot...
My Level 30 Mage will conjure up some food/water for her-
+ College students usually party/booze/drugs...WOW is alot safer-
+ no STD`s...cause you know they aint getting laid playing WOW...lol
The PS3 had the worse Launch ever-
They shoot them selves in the foot from the word go-
So many people wanted a PS3 on Launch day...Maybe Close to 2 million-
They came with 250,000 That left alot of pissed off people, who where happy to buy more gear for there Xboxes-
+ The PS3 had 1 game @ Launch...and 18 terrible games...so the Hype, was gone-
The 360 might have had RROD but atleast people got some good games and consoles to play them on-
...
The Xbox will continue to bring down the big Numbers- M$ has paid the price and has a larger install base then the Ps3...And the XMB is still the Online gamers choice but...
do not confuse Xboxs bigger Selling numbers to The Ps3 lacking anything, except a price cut, say if they time it with 09 Holiday shoppers...who knows might be the Xboxs last BIG Year-
Yes I want the CE and it`s a Launch title as well...But I believe to be competitive in this game the Controller is the way to go-
Have you ever seen anybody really competitive with a Racing Wheel-

Black shinny, with chrome details, upgradable HD/Blu-Tooth/Blu-Ray & RFOM(thats it...lol)
but The Games are here, since Cod4 in 2007/GTA4/MGS4/Guitar Hero
and to many to name in 08-
ALso with the wave of beautiful Philips/Samsung/LG...ect making some real nice affordable HD Sets and releases of Dark Knight and many other Blu-Ray Classics...
No denying The Ps3 shines :)
09 and Beyond-
With R2/Socom...Leading the way for the Ps3, The Xbox was GOW/Halo
The kicker is MGS4 or is it Fable2...lol
either way...great time to Own a Ps3/Xbox-
