I'll take the masterpiece of MGS4 over the extremely shallow Gears franchise anyday.
If I need to run around and blow stuff up mindlessly ive got CoD, Halo, Gear 1, then Socom, Resistance 1 and 2 and Killzone.

as im in the market for a Elite and since I have two identical TV's running both consoles on HDMI, it will give me a good chance if I buy a game, to then rent its counterpart if im bored enough to see a difference. Or bring a friends version of the opposite console.
im a big PS3 fan, but there is a tiny bit more detail on the 360 version along with the saturated colors. The one thing i dont get is why (and i have two PS3's on two different Samsungs 1080p) do these comparison videos make the PS3 look more washed out then the 360? Maybe its just my Samsungs but I feel once i correct my TV's I have to tone down the contrast and color settings because my PS3 and Digital Cable sometimes appear too over saturated.

over Joystiq...the comment boards there are packed with 13 year Wii and 360 fanboys. Mention one positive thing about the PS3 and you're labled "Sony Defense Force". Its sad.
now i see why some people need scores, because you obviously dont read reviews. GT5 PROLOGUE got a meta score of 81 simply because it is a prologue and is not completed yet. Its about a third of its final product. Read the reviews, they mention this. They also mainly mention that its amazing, the car physics, the handling the slick interface.
They gave a 80% to an unfinished game and most acknowledged how impressed they were but couldn't give higher until the finished produc...
lets be honest, if any game came out on two discs you think it would geta 9.5 meta score??? A racing game???
Microsoft has recently been telling the gaming public that they currently are not putting attention to a new console and that they feel the 360 will be around longer then people think.
Orange Box was ported to the PS3 and was not handled by valve but rather given to EA (i believe) to bring to the PS3. Valve has repeatedly mentioned they are not fond of the PS3. So that explains the discrepancy in the scores.
Oblivion regardless of the scoring, looks better on the PS3. Any monkey could see that.
Why dont you go back to a year and half into 360's timeline and show us how many AAA titles were available for the 360?

now im almost positive your only personal experience with the PS3 comes from playing at a "friends" house or better yet staring up at a 21 inch screen in the aisles at Walmart.
Grid only slightly behind GT5P? On what planet??? If you do in fact have a PS3 i recommend using anything other then the RF modulator you used to install it on your 13 inch SDTV.
GT5P runs circles around Grid in terms of graphics every day of the week. Its not even a finished product...
that you are criticizing fans of the game for not agreeing with this guys review, by claiming they probably havent played the game yet. Thats laughable as most are giving examples of why they think his review is offbase with actual personal experiences in the game.
Real question here is, have you played the game?
this is the world we are living in. Shock journalism, going against the mainstream way of thinking. MGS is getting great reviews (i could care less about scores) from all different sorts of publications...but the one getting the most attention are the lower end sites.
This drums up interest and press, whether good or bad. If you hate the PS3 and MGS you will find your way to their site should u never have been. If you love MGS and the PS3 you too will flood the site to see ...
