Well said, if you are a true gamer, graphics don't matter in the least. The same goes for the frame rate, as long as it's at least 30 fps, and can maintain that frame rate, the game will run smoothly. It didn't matter in the Playstation, and Playstation 2 era, so why should it matter now?
In just glancing at the game Tomodachi Life, you can tell that it's for kids. Why grown adults would be playing it is beyond me, that's what the Sims are for. The reality is, kids will be exposed to something they have no way to comprehend, be they male or female. If the game was a mature game that would be different, but it's not. They do say ignorance is bliss though.
If you believe this you're a fool, why would sony allow mp3 playback [even with the outcry] when they are making money by channeling music playback through their music unlimited service. The addition of mp3 playback would make music unlimited obsolete, cutting off a source of revenue for sony. The same can be said for video playback as well, neither one of these will be what they were on ps3.
A lot of ps4 owners have said "well sharefactory allows mp3s to be used&qu...
It's destined to fail, Playstation Now is only as good as long as they can support and maintain the servers for said games. Were talking a fluid game experience here, the same quality from a game disc. Sony can't guarantee that, especially since the players have to be online to play. As a gamer you can't play whenever you want, you have to be online to play. It's a digital vs physical war, and it all comes down to which side has the most supporters. I think sony feels that thi...
Pointless article, console wars have been around ever since Nintendo vs SEGA. They'll be around until consoles stop being made.
" We need real gamers to stand up and ignore these idiots, don’t respond to them, and don’t give them the time of day. Block them from Twitter, tag them as spam in forums, and report them to mods."
Wow...really? In the end, it's an individual's opinion, which are they entitled to. Yet, you say block, or mar...
"Sometimes it’s like falling in love - what happens then is that you get a tsunami of a neurotransmitter called dopamine into the brain, which gives you a huge buzz.
I didn't know you could get high from playing a specific game console of your chosing. Nor have I ever seen such a thing, this article is just like the ones dealing with violent video games affect on violence around the world, imaginative theories.

We met yet again Ck1k, and again I find you are an intelligent and observational gamer.
Why was the PS2 so successful?
*Exclusive 3rd party games
*Japanese 3rd party games were king
straight and to the point!
If someone wanted a summary for why the PS2 was so successful, then this would be the definitive answer. Yet, I see even when the truth is stated, it will still be denied, [the disagree]. Japanese developers dominated the PS2 and PS1 gens, and they were [as Aclay said] quality games. Not only that, but the Japanese developers in question were consistent with the games they brought to market.
@kalkano
You're right to a certain extent, there was most certainly a lack of JRPGs on the PS3, but it's not the sole reason the PS3 doesn't carry on the legacy of the PS2. A more accurate observation would be localized JRPGs, by comparison between the two, since PS3 game offering in Japan differs greatly from PS3 in the West.
What the PS3 lacked was Japanese games in general, which is what the bulk of games for the PS2 were. These were games like...
Solid Snake=David
Big Boss=? not sutherland
fixed.
The ignorance here is astounding, only a few really comprehend the meaning of what is happening at Sony. Ck1x you are one of those few, you clearly recognize this based on the companies you referred to like Capcom and Sega. Yet you still got disagrees, even though what you stated was the truth. Capcom hasn't been [and will never be] the same since it's core team left, which are the developers we now know as *Platinum games*.
You also made a perfect point at the end of...
For all this guys conjecture, any uninformed gamer will be convinced of his "supposed" intellect. Yet, for those like me...we see through the facade. He compares niche games to highly commercialized ones, so of course the numbers aren't going to add up. Many original Nintendo fans have long since left the platform, either growing out of the Mario experience or looking for something more hardcore. Gaming in general is in a constant state of flux, the charts he shows only pertains...
A fool such as yourself is bound to repeat foolish actions. You clearly lack comprehension skills, as question 3 of this survey refers directly to ps3. *Cross* chatting to a majority of gamers [and what it's becoming universally accepted as] means across games/platforms. The ps3 can do neither http://www.playstationlifes... Period [sarcasm]
You say...

Only a fool would proclaim what you did in your reply to me. What this survey pertains to, and the questions I pointed out are of two different natures. Your sheer idiocy is amazing, question 3 of the survey ask about *cross* chatting from the ps4 to the ps3. What you fail to realize are 2 things, the first being that ram limitation is not an issue for ps4, nor did I ever...
This survey is fake based on survey questions 3 and 8. Survey question number 3 ask about cross-chat on ps3, when any Playstation user would know it's not possible due to ram limitations. While question number 8 is utterly stupid, why would sony ask about a feature that is already used in the PS3. Open your eyes people, any one can put together a survey, and claim it's legit. Notice, the poster of this article cannot provide a link because it doesn't exist.
Clearly you have no understanding of what Nintendo actually owns, when it comes to their games. They only own the code of the game itself, which is why they say that a buyer of their game should not attempt to alter it in any way. The same goes for any game publisher, they only own the code that makes up the game. I see people like you all the time, who try to take the publisher's side. The majority of you say the same thing, the publisher owns the visuals, everything the game displays. ...
