this bodes well for the ps3 long after the ps4 is out.....hats off to sony for supporting three platforms simultaneously whilst listening to consumers and developers alike in lauching the ps3 slim
slim has shown that consumers were biding their time until ps3 was at a resonable price, now they have an affordable powerhouse of a console ,a bluray player with free online.
microsoft have to do more than cut price they were already cheaper than the wii, buying off 3rd party exclusives will be super difficult because developers will want some of that ps3 install base which is rapidly growing now the slim is out, microsoft havnt got much in 1st party studios so its a dilemma mic...
just change the harddrive (mines 500g),another advantage over 360 i think the penny has finally dropped for consumers that the ps3 has soo much advantage over its rivals hardware wise

what i DID expect was many sites would lose the little credibility they had all in the name of hits...how many headlines were their stating: 'slim wont help ps3 sales'? just shows how backwards certain sites have gone in the name of journalism

sony HAVE replaced exclusives they have lost with true exclusives from their software houses,and staggeringly mainly all new ips,LBP,resistance,motorstorm, infamous,uncharted just to name a few
sony had a long term plan all along and its paying off as they dont have to rely on 3rd parties

it doesnt matter the genre of the game...most of LBP additionl packs have been COSTUMES,a small addition but it just goes to show that media molecule still cares about its project and occasionally they will give you a biggie like water/metal gear solid packs
criterion supported burnout (a driving game) to no ends, supporting a game way after its release has nothing to do with the genre
fast forward to the ps3 guess what.....SAME layout ive been used to for over 10 years
so each to their own, my own is i prefer the ps controller

its great thinking your product is good but to bash the competiton who were the originators of your genre of game making,(basically without them there would be no forza)and also bashing when you havnt seen the competitions latest instalment is down right foolish

so it seems your a little misguided,ps3 has been out for three years and yet still new games are released on the ps2, 360 has been out 4 years xbox support was dropped 4 years ago,why couldnt microsoft support the original xbox and its consumers? thats why i never bought a 360 because microsoft shaft their consumers...they did me with the original xbox,lets keep it real.as a consumer this is why i wont buy a 360 (also because i refuse to pay for online and i dread RROD)what is going to happen...
