For the most part true but this is different since we already had a taste with GTA Lost and Damned and it was badass.
It's a shame but let's hope for Lost DLC for GTAV.
Would be nice if nintendo made the two work side by side for extra processing power or server for online games.

Yea I doubt Xbox can run arma2 engine. It would need big overhaul to make the game optimize for Xbox.
I hate COD but I have to agree, IW3 is the smooths and lag free engine out there. Billions of sales prove it.

Wish Steam would let you play for 1 hour as a way to demo a game. But downloading whole game to just try it might not be for everyone.
Hope JC3 brings in 2 player coop and air strike system like in mercs2.

I think Gears of War is more comparable than Halo.
Win8 will do fine but it will hurt pc gaming in long run. It's not forcing it's storefront/close platform yet, but you have to realise people are morons. They won't know that and will start buying on the storefront. Storefront sales will go up. Forcing developers to use it in order to compete. Say hello to close platform on most of your software. Next windows rolls out and M$ will further its grip till one day it will be fully close platform.
Steam will have it 80+% off during Christmas sale.
