Shortages are fake. MS is deliberately undershipping their product to make it appear that it's "sold out." Meanwhile one of the "big box" stores in my area only received 4 Kinect cameras. They received plenty of Kinect bundles, but only 4 cameras.
MS, this is obvious bullshit.
Anyone considering buying the Kinect should really get informed before they make their purchase. Most people do not understand that Kinect simply wont work properly in smaller homes and apartments.
