Nope. Nintendo will be around forever. They are the Disney of gaming. Haters have been predicting their doom since the 80s. Fan communities like NeoGAF predict their doom on a daily basis.
Meanwhile Nintendo is not the company that just lost over 5 billion dollars on their last console. And they're not the company with a portable that is doing so badly in the US that the NeoGAF kids (aka Tyler) feel the need to hide the NPD sales numbers from public view for the past 8 ...

If you're talking about working units the PS3 is already ahead of the Xbox 360.
However, people who feel the need to make excuses for the PS3's 3rd place position are pathetic. It's a damn fine system and you're only making the fanbase look desperate and insecure.
The PS3 has been roughly 2 to 3 million units behind the Xbox 360 for the past several years. It will never close the gap, especially with the Holiday Season coming. 360 dominate...
