It was premature to announce Xbox Scorpio for three reasons:
1. They showed their hand to Sony
2. Why would anyone buy it when you can buy all the games on PC
3. By the time it comes out it will still be an under powered PC
Plus why would one want to buy Xbox One when they can wait until Xbox Scorpio or if you have the money just build a powerful PC rig to rival the Scorpio.
It's fine that companies are making remastered/HD/remakes/1080p/60 fps games because we see this happening in movies too with them remaking The Poltergeist movie. I just don't think we as consumers/gamers should pay $60 again for updated graphics. There should be more to it like all DLC, added game play, and etc..
This are the PS2 games I was constantly asked about when I worked at GameStop: Champions: Return to Arms, Dark Cloud, Cool Boarders, Dark Chronicle, Socom, The Getaway, Arc the Lad, Rogue Galaxy, Wild Arms, siphon filter, and Champions of Norrath.
They have to make up the money somewhere since they are losing money in Japan with XB Ones selling for 50% discount.

I used to work at GameStop and to see parents buy violent games for their kids at a young age is appalling. Good news for XBOne owners but bad news for the 18,000 employees that are losing their jobs because Microsoft is losing money. In their quarterly reports they have lost 400 million dollars in the Xbox division. Sorry we can't keep you because we have spent x amount of money to get a game exclusivity but here is a Nokia phone as severance pay. What kills me is that I understand the the Playstation 3 was ridiculous expensive at $599 for a 60GB in 2006 but Sony was losing money on every system they sold and people were actually paying $1000 for a Blu Ray player. Like I stated before: I'm sick of everyone calling the $399 Xbox One a price cut when it's a downgrade because they took out kinect. It would have been better if Microsoft give it a bigger hard drive like 720gb or 1tb hdd for $399 since it not removable. I know I will be getting a lot of dislike but I don't care because a kinect less system is just a way to justify a higher priced kinect when they add new kinect games and appt. or features in the future.

I knew Microsoft was going to make a cheaper sku# Xbox One without kinect. I didn't think it was going to be this soon because of Microsoft's ego. The dead give away was when Microsoft came out with a DVD remote. The question is why does the Xbox One needs a DVD remote when you can use voice command on the kinect. The only way Microsoft surpass Sony sales in US market is Sony stop sell PS4 in NA market for two months.
Look is it to far off to think that EA is a greedy corporate company that is looking to cash out on a higher install base. So what if it comes on PS4 as a special edition.
