That other article doesn't highlight this fact. So no, this is not a duplicate story.

OT: Like i predicted, Microsoft have alot of inventory still sitting on store shelves. The fact that they are slowing or halting production all together proves this. They continue to flood the retail channel even though retailers still have large quantities of inventory yet to be exhausted. They were only shipping 400k a month worldwide. They haven't passed 4 million yet (sold to co...

No downgrade over here with Infamous:SS. Thanks to the talent and dedication over at Sucker Punch, we received an incredibly detailed Seattle. The attention to detail in Infamous is just staggering and definitely raised the bar.

I gave you an agree because that is very impressive. But to get that level of detail @1080/30fps(stable) will run you well north of $400.00. I also know that Crytek has more than 80 employees on staff.

It's stupid compare locked in hardware (consoles) to PC (unlocked). Had they been able to achieve this on Xbox One with Ryse, then I would have been impressed. Taking something unlimited and making a game look good doesn't take skill (50gb Titanfall PC). Getting the mo...

Microsoft has yet to pass 4 million. You announce 3 million sold to consumers as of December 31st, 2013. Since then you have only shipped 1.1 million in 13weeks/90days/3months/Q1. Retailers have yet to exhaust the inventory they have. Which is why we're seeing individual retailers slash Xbox One prices. Microsoft is sitting @ 3.9 million sold to consumers.

check out my comment where i crunch the numbers. Love anyone willing to offer a LEGITIMATE counter argument.

It's plain and simple. More power for a cheaper price. When you have game of the year franchises like Uncharted/LBP/Last of US, it's very appealing to core gamers.

Doing a little math here.
3 million sold to consumer by December 31st, 2013
900k was sitting in the retail chain @ the beginning of 2014

(In the US alone based off NPD)Jan/Feb/March (Q1)
Microsoft has sold to consumer 712,000 Xbox Ones.
This is over a period of 13 weeks
712k/13 = 54.76/week (so let's just say 55)

Now this is assuming the other 12 market's are averaging 20k/week

75k/13 = only 975...

Not enough, apparently. LMAO

Even I didn't think Sony would take March in the US. Xbox One E3 price drop confirmed. But it's going to have to be below 349.99 MSRP

Blueprint did such a good job on the 360 version, Microsoft needed to delay it. As you can see there is very little difference between the two. With the difference being so negligible and most people already owning a Xbox360, the game would have hurt the Xbox One sales. In other words, since it ran so well on Xbox360, people wouldn't have bought it for Xbox One. They definitely wouldn't have bought an Xbox One for it. That why the game got delayed two weeks before it's launch.

People were stealth disagreeing with me when I said that @ the beginning of the year Microsoft flood the retail channel with 900k Xbox Ones. For Jan./Feb. Xbox One only moved 401k (MS largest market). Xbox Ones are not selling like MS expected. But we'll find out March NPD.

"Luckey moved on to explaining that a problem in the last few years was that developers focused too much on visual fidelity and too little in reducing latency, and that’s not as simple as running at sixty frames per second. According to him 60 fps is not some sort of magical benchmark to establish if a game is done right, ..." -

It just proves my point. Developers do not target high end graphics cards for their games. I never said PC gaming was dead. Consoles are j...

I wonder if you made that some comparison to the X-men character "Rouge" or "Xavier". You're trying to make something that isn't controversial into something that is. Deslin doesn't do anything sexual to get the conduits powers. You're grasping at straws while injecting a sex-crime theme into a video game that doesn't have anything that suggests so, in it. Please don't come and defend you're poor attempting at gaming journalism. You might as wel...

After hearing that in March Infamous:SS did over 1 million globally, I think PS4 will be close if not ahead. But I just want to know how many Infamous sold in US during those 9 days.

"One hope is that PCs once again outshine the competition. Developers have been consistently making games cross-platform with the PC benefiting. As the Playstation shines in power, it's still somewhat comparable to a Pentium 3 computer with a 3DFX video card." -

Gotta love that attention, grabbing title. Turns out most, if not all, systems were affected by this. But I like DualShockers so oh well.

I don't like it because the entire thing is reliant completely on your internet connection. If you don't have enough bandwidth then you won't be achieving anything close to these results. Also what about the Xbox One owner who's internet is down or just doesn't have it? Exactly, they benefit absolutely nothing from this. I would prefer Microsoft prioritizing ESRAM efficiency over "long-way from practicality" Cloud. Or better yet how about simply removing paid ser...

Microsoft should have been buying studios instead of 3rd party exclusives. I wonder how many studios Microsfot could have acquired for the amount of money the paid EA for TitanFall?

We don't need another opinion piece on why gamers shouldn't have more games. Many people either never owned a ps3 or held off on it. It is a welcomed addition to the ps4 library. I hope they have something special for those who are double dipping (myself included).
