Typical response to good Sony news...
"WHAAA!!!! HALO OMG!!!!"
I'm not saying Halo is bad, but seriously, that excuse is not enough.
Rest in peace, my friend, rest in peace...
I bought a launch Black/Crimson DS and my screen is fine... I've had no problems so far...
This is one of the games I was envious that it was not coming to the PS3. Sometimes things just work out! I know it's not confirmed, but "possible" is "Yes, we are working on it" in the game industry.
Most likely, 30 frames per second to answer the question. And if you read the article you know that that would be the same frame rate as the PS3 and PC one will run...
I envy your fanboyism, sir. It makes you very cool and educated.
But Mark Rein is a great guy. I mean he answers all the questions unlike most devs who dodge them. For instance I recieved a personal e-mail back from him after I sent an e-mail to him a few weeks ago. I'm getting this game for 2 reasons. A) Looks hella awesome B) To give Mark Rein monies...
Movies run at 24 frames per second so all of them must be awful...
Man...fanboys will downplay anything that is good... "Ya hnow, I think that the best looking game shown is a little unimpressive..."
Please... Look, even if you HATE Sony, you have to admit that GG did a very good job on teh graphics. Personally, I want to hear more about the gameplay and online before it sells me.
It's pretty unique in the shooter genre. First of all, I do not owna 360, I owna PS3, but all of my friends have 360 so I've got a bunch of time with the Bioshock demo. It;s good, really good. I'll tell you what blew me away was the very begining when you were in the water surrounded by fire. It really looked like water, it was awsome. As far as it being a generic FPS. It's not. The production and story is higher than most FPS's stive for. Also, the plasmids (super power type things)...
Gamespot is the toughest reviewer out there, so a 9 out of 10 is a great score from them...
The coverstory in Game Informer did not get me interested, but this damn well did!
Uncharted took my Lair monies...
Well, my money is still deciding what way to go... Lair, HS, or Uncharted... Demo's plwese!
You will just have paid another 400 (it will probably be 500) dollars for a console that is not quite "futureproof" like the PS3 is...
400 plus 400/500 is... Hmmm....
That looks like a great game! I can't wait to play the demo at my brother's house. I don't own a 360, but I do own a computer , so I can see myself picking up this one, maybe not at launch, but around christmas. Hats off to the devs!
@"poo-ray" Did you learn that phrase when you went to the first day of 4th grade yesterday?
@ "it will look better on 360" Ummm...since it was deved on the PS3 that is not likely at all... If it came out 1.5 years oafter the PS3 version, maybe. But, you can bet that the 360 version will look identical (maybe slightly worse textures) to the PS3.
Oh, and while you are playing your great games (Honestly, Bioshock looks pretty damn innovative ...
Blu-Ray is needed for some games this generation. More space=more freedom. Devs are starting to realize that (Rockstar, Epic, etc.) There is no more averting the facts. Look, I know people are going to disagree with me, but it's not about the console war, it's about giving the devs the freedom to do what they need. Sure, the PS3 takes a little time to crack the deving code, time that some devs on a tight schedual cannot crack in time (i.e. Madden 08'/EA) but believe me, come this fall f...
Resistance was really the first FPS I got into as well... I mean a played COD2 a little bit online, but now I'm craving to own some noobs in Haze, COD 4, and UT3. Thanks Resistance!
I don't think we are seeing 2.0 till Home launches, which leads me to believe that there will be a smaller (1.95?) update soon with minor upgrades.
It is sooo hard to get into a game on Warhawk becasue it takes too long to tell you that the game is full. Also, it will say 29 of 32 players in game, but when you try to join it it says full. So you go back to the same game and it still says 29 of 32...WTF?
