I would buy Gears 3 if they only changed the technical problems from gears 2. Screw the graphics, make the game play a mix of the good from gears 1 and 2 and also add more stuff.
I stopped playing gears 2 because of the terrible host selection and the inescapable 2-piece. In gears 1 you could blast the 2-piecing fa*s, but 'OH NOES WE NEED TEH CASUAL GAEMRZ'.

There is one problem with this comparison that will swing the victory to Battlefield. In the article it states, "Because it is smaller in scope, Bad Company 2 can function without teamwork being to the fore." This is completely false. Sure the game can 'function,' but if you plan on WINNING, you need to work as a team.

I remember the glitch in the original saints row demo that would allow you to go outside the boundaries and explore the whole city.

Shooting doesn't matter when you spawn without a weapon(yes, the gears of war no weapon glitch made it to this game)

I love this game though.
My controller throwing was at its worse during my N64 days. Wrestlemania 2000 and No Mercy were the reasons for this. I would have my opponent flashing "DANGER" and about to do my finishing move, when all of a sudden they would counter once, get off one or two more moves and have a special.
Just thinking about it makes me angry. I mean who gets a special that f**king fast.
I am assuming the reason the point system was used was for the individuals who do not have/use debit or credit cards.
The points themselves were not a bad decision, it was the stupid denominations in which they were sold.
I say the system was good because I remember my friend(whom doesn't use banks) couldn't buy anything off the PSN until they finally released the PSN cards. He, on the other hand could go out and buy a MS point card whenever he needed one.
This was the same problem with Dead Rising, but that was close to the beginning of the consoles life.
Now, if you can afford to buy the console, you can definitely afford a cheap LCD.

It came free with a PURCHASED retail copy of the game. That means you rented it, borrowed from a friend, stole the disks(I used to do this when I was in high school) out of the case or you're a dirty dirty pirate.
