well i'm a 28 year old gamer and i've enjoyed my 3ds better then any handheld i have ever owned.
and the six other friends on my 3ds friends list feel the same they love it.my brother who is on the list has a ipod touch but says its only good for short casual games.and if you want to play real games on a handheld it has to be a 3ds,or vita.but i know more adults who have or want 3ds cause it can play great games and it's a cheap way to take 3d pics and videos.
the Wii U controller is a standard controller with a touchscreen,mic,camera,sensor bar,rumble,and motion controls

don't worry vita fans remember 3ds was going to die a couple months ago and now its over 10 million sold and it has 3 months before its been out for a year.
