Gamerankings is 10 times worse than meta. They only have like 39 reviews. If you want proper agreggate scores.. look at the n4g channel page for different games. Uncharted 3 has a 94 with the average of all 303 reviews

Seriously Im annoyed that this guy thinks Uncharted has less of a chance to win GOTY because of Metacritic and Gamerankings.
Have you looked at the meta? So many 100-90 scores. There are a few 80's. But the problem is that metacritic and gamerankings consist of so many sites I never heard of... but meta approves them as "acceptable"

I have played Uncharted 3 5 times so far and I have had so much fun on each run, it does not feel the same because enemies act differently each time plus the mp is ridiculously addictive.
But when a game is not easy to replay it feels repetitive. Look at Batman Arkham city after you beat the story and side missions..... then what? Find all the riddler trophies, but to do that you see how repetitive and annoying the game is. Find riddler trophy, usually guarded by inmates... y...
Seriously... Metacritic and gamerankings don't make game of the year. I mean look at Fallout 3, had a 93 on meta, and was in the same year as GTA 4 the highest rated game this century and MGS4.

I dont mind his reasons. Im just annoyed at how these aggregate sites work, I mean there are over 200 reviews, and they only tabulate 30 and 68, and what makes even less sense is that they always seem to include all the lowest scores.
I honestly think that metacritic is garbage. Look at Arkham city on ps3, it is somehow better than the 360 version... they are not different games and they are not superior on a certain console. Seriously after the AV club review, meta just kept...
