I'm a BF3 fan but you can't complain that one of CoD's bad points is it's old engine. Look at valve's source engine, it's been around for about a decade and is still used in games such as portal 2, but no-one complained about that.

Thank you. This will be a great add on pack but I don't see how simple minded some people are, of course most of the DLC was made before the game was released, it's called a business plan. Like it or not, DICE devs don't swear over a bible not to cash in on their products like any other company...

I love how people are bitching about IW rehashing maps but it seems that DICE are somehow immune to this.. back to karkand is old BF2 maps, yet everybody supports it? Not slating DICE or IW here, as rehashing old maps makes great business sense.

I reckon if it was implemented, it would only happen once a certain pair of MCOMs have been destroyed. Imagine starting off a game of rush with tense nighttime firefights, where flashlights, laser sights and infrared scopes are the most important attachments, but then, as night turns to dawn, the soldiers draw long shadows which make them stand out in the open, and gives more opportunities for long range firefights.
I remember long afternoons playing CoD3, looking at it's crappy graphics and listening to the bad sound effects... Oh how I miss it.

I've been waiting to build structures in a real time battle for years! I know what role i'll be playing, building and maintaining structures and letting the turrets pick off any fool dumb enough to approach my base!
Which ever reason it is, Sony can take as long as it wants. No point integrating a system that you spent 5 minutes on for it to go down 5 minutes later.
I love single player games and this PSN outage has given me time to go for an Uncharted 2 platinum!

Ah, don't get me started on spawn camping on battlefield... BC2 Atacama desert, Oasis... the list goes on. Alot of people seem to forget about that though haha!
