It needs to be said that micro transactions are necessary in games in 2017 and beyond. They can help keep a games costing down and keep a game fresh with added content. BUT! and that is a BIG BUTT... developers need to find that sweet spot for their customers. EA in this case has got it wrong. Making us pay for heroes? What the hell EA? Who on your payroll suggested that nonsense? Suggestion... find that person and fire them because that kind of thinking will destroy your company. You are sup...
Its totally for Micro transactions. Do not let them fool you. They had a linear story driven game that once you finished it there was no real reason to do it again no matter how beautiful the game is.. like the uncharted series on playstation. Micro Transactions and a open world game seems to be their solution to this. I have no problem with Micro Transactions as long as it does not hurt the original out the box game. Do not force people to pay to win EA! You will only end up promoting piracy...
The game probably had no pay to win model in it and had to "Pivot" lol.
This is a tough subject and relevant to what is happening around the world. Hate speech is awful but we have to be careful of "banning" anything. Banning something never works for one thing and even if it did do we really want to live in a world where freedom of speech is monitored? Yes people abuse this privileged just like people abuse most privileges but taking away that freedom will have even more serious repercussions. The only way to control this is to give the individual bein...
Its extremely insulting to gamers that companies like Ubisoft think they can show us a game months before release looking all amazing and then drop a broken game on us on launch day. Because of them I NEVER pre-order games anymore and because of them I never trust pre-game hype. Release the game, let the critics have a go at it and if its good ill buy it. Lets stop being conned people.
Missing the point here. The one game they did not release on PC was Red Dead Redemption. Us PC gamers still waiting on that one. Then you get staleness... game goes stale. In other words it come out on XBOX one and Ps4 and all the PC gamers watch from the side lines like homeless people watching people feed on KFC from the other side of the window. Reviews come out on how epic the game is and for about 2 weeks everyone cant stop talking about it. Then it becomes old news and another game grab...
Later? LATER??? We are effing gamers! we have not got the patience for later! All we see with this announcement is PAIN and disloyalty. Rockstar took a giant dump on us PC gamers!!
I hope it's because they are working on Red Dead 2, feck I'd be happy with a red dead remaster on pc at this point. Loved that game so much!
Well done my fellow gamers! This should clarify once and for all that we have the power and are the deciding factor. Do not support badly placed Micro transactions and they wont put them in anymore! Awesome!
