Sony and MS have the luxury of delaying their big 1st party titles since they actually get "3rd Party support" unlike Nintendo. There is literally nothing outside of Splatoon with a confirmed release date that i'm interested in (including 3DS).

What's even more funny is the last battlefront had 18 planets while this new one only has four. The funny thing is that they're trying to pass it off as a full battlefront experience by cutting up the planets into four. This battlefront is going to be a joke, anybody who supports this game is part of the problem.
Going by the recent events and moves from Microsoft, I can certainly see them turning the Xbox brand into a software only conglomerate. The only time Microsoft was ever truly successful in the gaming market was with the 360 because of their amazing ability to sell software. ACIV is an example of when a game starts out as it's own IP, but gets shoehorned into an established series. ACIV is not a good AC game at all, as if that wasn't evident at the fact that "Pirates" are the complete opposite of what "Assassin's" are. It just shows that Ubisoft are milking the franchise with no clear indication of what Assassin's Creed is supposed to be.
