Well it seems the narrative or should I say narratives that are trying to be created is:
PS5’s SSD is just for faster loading screens
PS5’s SSD are just for first party developers
Now, PS5’s SSD are too expensive for third party developers.
I’m not sure why exclusive developer will comment on this, but it’s not surprising.
I think you may be mistaken, we were told by the experts on here (Echo, TimTim, etc) that MS’s machine is vastly superior to the PS5 in almost every way and that’s Sony’s super duper fast SSD is not going to matter because it’s only going to load games 3 to 5 seconds faster than the XSX. ;)

I agree, but this is a continuing trend for MS. They’re infamous at hyping up their events, but they tend to always fall flat when it’s finally reveal to the public.
But let’s hypothetically say Sony knocks it out of the park with their reveal this upcoming Thursday, this is going to put extreme pressure on MS to deliver something other than Halo from their event in July.
But moving forward, I will keep my expectations extremely low when they announce any...
