I'm an adult as well and can easily afford $500. The problem is that a lot of these consoles are bought by parents for their kids and these parents may not think it's worth it. I for one would like to see Sony continue to dominate as it usually means better games for us. Sony has delivered this gen in that respect while microsoft has let thier community down. Less units sold can easily less developer support
$500 might be too high. The majority here that are in support are probably adults and can handle it. Seems we have forgotten what it was like to have to depend on someone to buy consoles and games for you.
these people act as though an easy mode is like cheating on an exam or something illegal. They dont get that it's just a game that's meant for entertainment. It's not that serious. Be happy that you can beat the game on its default setting and be happy that others that aren't as skilled or don't have the time to invest can enjoy the game as well
All these people disagreeing and down voting. It doesn't affect you if someone chooses to play the game on easy mode. If a game is great would you not want others to experience that? As a single player game I assume that the story has a lot to do with the experience as well as the difficulty. Well guess what many wont ever get to experience that. I am not going to buy the game because I dont feel like spending money to be upset.
@LordoftheCritics I agree. Skipping this game. Had enough after Bloodborne. Life's too short for me to spend my hard earned cash to be frustrated. I enjoyed the hell out of DMC5 on normal mode though. Might even try the harder difficulties
I for one am going to miss out on this great game. I didn't finish Bloodbourne because it was just to hard. I game to relax and have fun. Yes a challenge is great too but there has to be a balance. Why not include an easy mode for people like me? Those that want a challenge or don't know about the difficulty will generally choose normal difficulty at the start of any game as I would usually do. I feel the exact same way. Never bothered to finish Bloodborne. Just dont have the time or patience for these games anymore. DMC 5 is going great so far!

More important than launching this year would be to have good exclusives ready on launch or soon after and many more down the pipeline for years to come

I dont see a problem here for xbox. Once they start putting out more and better first party games that should be enough for most gamers. I only have a Pro and have heavily invested in PSVR. It's a great and revolutionary experience especially for someone who grew up on NES. That being said it's not for everyone and for me it's more of a niche thing. I really liked Killzone as well. I really wish they would include legacy controls though. I went out and bought a legacy modded control just for Killzone SF
BC is overrated. I've a PS2, 3 and 4 pro. I almost never switch on the old consoles. The majority of us move on and dont look back much. A lot of us keep our old consoles too. The really popular games tend to get remastered as well these days

This ultra fast ssd is actually my biggest concern with ps5 and no one seems to care.
