your right the 360 version of crysis 2 had a horrible grain glitch, and they didn't even take the time to fix it, crytek only cares about money, thats why they left the pc community in the dust
better color on the console version, but without that pc is definitely better

imagine you put on the headset grab your playstation move and play killzone 3, the snow is falling all around, bullets are flying by, all you can see is helghan, and the world outside the headset isn't visible, its such a huge move towards the future. After graphics advance a little more, everything inside the headset looks like real life, and finally we can live through games like its another life. yeah, it actually moved around your feet, and would crack and make footprints. It was pretty amazing but not many noticed it

you are exactly right, a lot of people really think it will look this good. They are forgetting to look through all that crytek is saying about it being better then the pc version. It will probably be sub hd, and if so i will play it on my pc on high settings

they are disagreeing because its cool to hate mw3 apparently, and even though they barely change the game, its still really fun and i understand why its popular
just because they are less known isn't a reason to automatically say they are lying. Even if it looks better on ps3, it wont be a huge difference, the ps3 has enough horsepower if they hit the highest potential to make it just a little better then 360, so only someone that stares at games and doesn't play them would notice.
dont know why they disagreed, maybe some 360 fanboys. But based off my knowledge with tech your spot on. The PPU core on the ps3 does processing and physics, and the spu's are essentially another gpu. 5 spu's are equal to one rsx. So basically the ps3 has two rsx's and then more with the extra 2 spu's. Its pretty obvious ps3 has a little more power, but 360 has a better online, so take your pick because they are both excellent consoles with different advantages
the 3d in crysis 2 wasn't real 3d, compared to a game like killzone 3. They just put 3 images on top of each other to create the effect
