While I agree that the PC will ALWAYS trump consoles in terms of graphics, there are just certain exclusives on consoles that will never come to PC and these happen to be the games I prefer. I'm aware that the PC will also have exclusives, but not the ones I want. The simplicity, convenience and optimization of a console is preferable to me as well.

My hype for it was huge, when I first understood the concept, then as time passed, my hype lessened. But after hearing the alpha reviews and as we get closer to the beta and finally the release, my hype has grown again!

I've pre-ordered for both PS4 and XB1, just so I can play the Beta with friends, and entered the codes in several months ago. When I log into my bungie account, I didn't see the codes or anything. Is it supposed to show up? ..I'll cry if I miss the Beta :-)
Initially, I was upset that the pre-sequel was only on last gen systems, but Destiny is coming out..which incorporates the best of Borderlands (except for the gun porn, and crazy humor).
With Destiny, I'll be fine until they drop BL3.
I'm with you man. I like the extra game content. Could care less about giant special edition game boxes or statues. And with all the other games coming out, my broke @$$ will be purchasing the standard, lol.

I'd be up for it, if it didn't take away from new titles (though that may be impossible). I never played them on the PS3 and won't re-buy a PS3 just to play them.

I agree completely! Bubble. Why anyone would want to argue over who has the most games during the first year of a console is beyond me. Maybe one has a few more than the other in the first year...neither have a very strong lineup in 2014, IMO, and it seems to be a wasted discussion..2015 and beyond is what I'm waiting for.

I'm buying it BECAUSE it's a cover shooter (as long as it's a good shooter)!! LOL..I'm not really sure what other 'gameplay elements' people think it will be lacking, but I'd love to hear them. I want to shoot monsters in an awesome setting and atmosphere, get into a great story, and look at some of the most gorgeous console graphics ever created. And shoot monsters with cool weapons..I don't mind a few QTE's and I like well-done cut-scenes, so no complaint...

I own both systems, but prefer my PS4. Without researching, and looking at the various posts and links, it's safe to say PS4 has more exclusives; however, which has the most compelling exclusives? Ok, checked it out and I've already entered my codes some time ago when I pre-ordered, so on 7/10/14, I should be able to go in there and select the Xbox and PS4 versions, I hope. What are they talking about on 7/17/14, they begin emailing beta codes? I thought that was on my Gamestop receipt, which is what I entered on the Bungie.net website...Sorry, I'm panicking.
