Got this game for free by buying a Nvidia GTX card. All I can say is that I am SO glad that I did not pay 50 bucks for this game. All it has going for it is atmosphere and graphics. Even with that said, not a bad title from a not so well known Ukrainian studio who also had to work in some harsh conditions. Props go out to 4A.
Yeah, I mean, the worst company in America award logically should have gone to Bank of America. But for a "game" company to take the award must have tarnished EA's reputation by a fuck ton. Nevertheless, I'm glad it happened.

Your title has me confused.
I saw 10 of the 13 missions of the campaign on youtube yesterday, and I will definitely say that the campaign is way better than bf3's single player and its predecessor MOH. However I don't think there's enough "Wow" factor in the game for it to compete with the likes of BO2 and Halo 4. Also from what I understand, the campaign is relatively short. On normal difficulty, you can expect to finish some levels on average at about 20-25 minutes.
I can't help but feel the writer tries too hard to come off as intelligent, but he's blowing things way out of context.
Just because I'm nostalgic doesn't mean I'm refusing change, nor do I believe that nostalgia is even an important factor as to why some developers choose to milk franchises. I think you're just generalizing too much.
