I hope it is some kind of new series for Nintendo. As much as I love the plumber, the hot space suit girl, the silent green swordsman, and those cute pokemon - I would love to see a new franchise, or an upgrade on one of their ignored games (pikmin perhaps?) I just hope its not another DS game that requires rhythm.. I suck at those games, haha
I love my ps2, but there is no way it is going to magically come and usurp Nintendo's throne on this generation. Perception is a funny thing. When the Wii was announced and released everyone heard about it..I mean my sister wanted one - and she has never played an actual game in her entire life. It was the cheapest "Next-Gen" console you can get. Even though a lot of N4G users bash it for not being a console for "real" gamers - it is still perceived as affordable and fun, ...
