Gpolice ? in space and an old classic. Would be pretty cool to get an update to this
i don't comment often on here but i have to say this article , sorry opinion piece is is drivel ! how can something less than 2 paragraphs long with no actual content aparts from 'what would you like to see' make the top story? The title say discussed which gives the impression that more than one person is involved in the article.
This is the equivalent of a facebook post ! is this have News is perceived now ? The is no official date for 4.0 or features list.
just think it means the arcade will soon come with a USB Stick soon. They must be far cheaper than the on board memory or cartridge option for MS
Article has some glaring issues in total, mentions that the number of USB ports have been reduced in the slim from 4 to 2.
There has only been 2 ports on the PS3 apart from the early launch models(60G) for quite sometime (at least a couple of years)
Also moans about backward compatibility to PS2 again got dumped about the same time as the additional ports and media reader.
the difference is you can have a PS3 in your living room and it fits like a Sky box or Blueray player. The X360 has always been for the bedroom or games room it does not look right and is way too noisy i can hear my downstairs when the drive kicks in loading a game !
At £249 its not a millions miles away from a good quality blueray player in price and i think it will have the same affect for blueray and PS2 did for DVD now. The number of people with HD TV's now is far greate...
Nothing Special, looks like it got all its ideas from Games in the first place.
would of needed to be in 3D like the film
Would have though that at least someone would of turned up. No announcements of anything playable on the game floor.
Are Microsoft turning into EA. Year 1 announce Halo game year 2 announce Fable game. Rinse and repeat.
The theory behind it is very impressive but until developers see how they can implement it i will hold my opinion.
Couple of things that concern me.
1. Not really for hardcore or even average gamers. Can not see you average person jumping round the living room throwing their arms and legs about for 2 hours while playing Gears 3 !
2. Lawsuits - how long before little jonny cripples himself jumping of the back of the couch trying to do a double backflip...

all i would like to do is send voice messages instead of text. Its about the only feature i miss of live. Hate typing things in takes too long.
Surley this feature would not be too complicated, bandwidth should not be an issue now you can send 3mb attachments ?
appreciate the comments, nice to see i have at least shown someone that there are issue with Xbox live in a family house
not been around for a while, did not even know this article had been approved!
Nice to seem that some people agree at look at things a little more sensible than most on here !
though i was reading my own story (apart from 3 RROD myself).
Last time i got my 360 out was just to check the NXE interface, not even a game, athought i missed out on GOW2 but may pick it up later.
some plus and minuses in the article thinks it well done but does not go too over the top an most reviews on popluar game buy being too scared to say the truth. (halo is a perfect example of this)
why do companies which make low budget PC games think consoles are not needed, see wildtangent article.
I got a console (both 360 and PS3) so i could play online with out all the numpties with aimbots!
I persoanally game in 2 different rooms, basically upstairs have a 27" LCD and Downstairs have a 42" much easier to move a console than a pc.
Tried putting a PC 'in the living room' before as a media centre and it just does not work
The reason all games with 'gimicks' fail is that they are a way of masking the main issue the game is not up to quality.
I think you have read a different thing into what i am attempting to say. Its the physical level being one long tunnel, no ability to go off path that worries me.
COD4 has set pieces which where impressive but it had open area which you could attach how you wished. Level such as the village in russia (can not remember the level name) are perfect example. You had to take each building but could do them in what ever order you wished.
vehicles killed COD3 online. hope you have the option to switch them off.
Any news on game types ??
will be interesting to see if this actually transfers into a playable game
double post !
