I am a person who does not have a blu ray player yet. I imagine that I will get one eventually probably in the form in ps3. I think it is still too early to tell where things are going to go. DVD is still great especially since you can up convert. I don't see the point of buying Blu ray since theey are so expensive. I am not goig to waste my money when I can get them cheaper on DVD. After reading the article I have to say I am confused. I don't understand what they mean by the psp being complicated. If you just spend five minutes with the device you pretty much have it down. I have two alternatives that I absolutely love. I had the creative zen vision M 60gb. It was awesome for mp3 and the video was absolutely incredible. My favorite though is my PSP. You can play great games, watch video and listen to music just to name a few. Plus adding any type of file is a snap. Plus the screen alone is bigger than the ipod. I love my psp. Yeah it is a bit bigger, if that really bothers ya then I guess a Ipod is your deal. Not for me. I'll stick with my psp.

Personally I don't generally buy new games. I think it is absolutely rediculous to pay 50-60 dollars for a video game. I will never pay that much. I usually hop on Ebay or go to Gamestop and buy used games. Heck I even think 20 dollars is expensive for a game. I usually buy the old games. I dont see then need to play the latest games. I am a huge fan of the PSP. I use it every day. Gaming, Music, Video you name it. Where can you get the features that the PSP offers for the price, the screen size and the periodic improvements. Heck even a stupid Nano cost as much.

I had both ds lite and psp. I sold my ds lite. I use my psp everyday. I use every function, some more than others. I also enjoy the updates. Sony has really understood there custmer base. I hope they never stop trying to add new functions to the device. All I need is my phone and my psp. Every one complains about the size of the psp. I love it. Perfect size. If you are worried about scratching it just get a crystal case and away you go.
