It's actually good for the consumer to have a choice to be honest, while MS and Sony are thrashing it out we get great games and new content.
If there was just one console i don't think we would have such great games to choose from.

At least your honest about it which is refreshing coming from someone that owns and Xbox. Personally i hate the Xbox as a console, but GeOW 2 is a kick ass game.
Dude, why would Microsoft drop the price so cheap if the Xbox was so superior to the PS3.
It sells because it's cheap, no other reason for it I'm afraid, they just make up the money after when you buy online play, HD lead, wifi adapter and harddrive etc.
God if Microsoft could get away with it they would charge you for the plug.

There's only one reason for that it's cheap, there is absolutely no other reason. Being cheap don't make something good.

But saying that i wouldn't buy one to save my own life, it's such a poorly made piece of crap i just don't understand why people buy them.
At this point in time the PS3 is on par with the games and the online component and in-fact in 2009 i expect the PS3 to have a much better line-up.
You get what you pay for.. I guess all the chavs and dollies can only afford an Xbox.

If a new console came out tomorrow i would buy it, the truth is they can't build a more powerful console that won't blow up as they have problems already with the existing one. Either that or they don't have any money as Vista has bombed and there loosing too much money on XBOX repairs.

You can't fix something that's clearly f**ked. The Xbox design it clearly floored M$ know this. They have no clue how to make a more powerful console and put it in a box without it blowing up that's the problem.
