OK, so supposedly PS3 cant handle PS2 emulation but PSP can?! Haha, I call bullshit.

Microsoft is losing customers because of their business strategy. Hardcore 360 users will undoubtedly move on to PS3. As it is, microsoft's hardcore offerings were already sparse. It seems now that it will get even worse...

All the while sony has been bombarding gamers with AAA exclusives almost non-stop for over 2 years with games spanning all genres. Even a fanboy can not argue that fact.

With tax season in full effect, nearly all of my friends who didn...

As much as i love Zelda, this thing is hideous... Theres a reason it never saw the light of day, It is ugly and not even slightly ergonomic. Who's idea was it to put a belt buckle where my hand would go?!

MIcrosoft doesnt aquire studios... Instead they throw away millions for timed DLC.

MS said it themselves. They are all about kinect from here on out.

Activision. Where developers go to die.

They take every IP, bleed it dry, and kill it off. I dont see why take-two need to be purchased they have MANY high profile IP's that sell.

How many people who developed DKC really still work at Rare? I doubt its very many. Rare is nothing without the intellectual properties, which are all owned by Nintendo. MS simply purchased the name, and they overpaid for it too... Rare hasn't done anything of interest since the days of N64. Now MS has them developing full-body waggle shovelware for kinect...

MS has the worst business tactics. They pay millions upon millions for timed DLC, and when they finallllyyyy buy a...

Well what makes dead space "scary" is the sound. This is the same trick used in most suspense/horror movies. They do a quick cut and then trigger a loud "stab" sound. It's the sound that makes you jumpy.

Personally, I find that the trittons are better because i do alot of late night gaming. I am able to keep the volume louder than i can with the home theatre set up. It also seems to feel more engrossing, and i can directly hear where the necromorphs ar...

I know they leaked it themselves, thats what i said to begin with...

Your comment contradicts your previous comment... Personally i dont care if people pirate games or not, if you read my original post you would understand this.

They cant stop leaks. They cant stop piracy. Just live with it, and stop complaining about it.

They figured out to play 3.55 games on 3.41 pretty easily... I doubt it would be a problem for very long if that is the case. Not that i support any of that kind of stuff, because i dont.

EA does not actually create the games, they are just a publisher. They basically foot the bill for development, marketing, and manufacturing. In return they most likely will gain ownership of the IP and receive a considerable amount of the profits made from the game.

The way Crysis 2 leaked (Unfinished) happens very rarely... Because of this circumstance i would assume the leak would have to have been internal, within Crytek themselves. Most games and media are leaked from t...

You have not experienced Dead Space 2 until you have played it with a surround sound headset. I played through most of the game using a set of Tritton Ax Pros and i must say it was much more intense then when i was using my home theatre system. The atmosphere and mood that it creates using sound is nearly unparalled in gaming, and only a few select titles can hold a candle to the sound design in DS2.

Of these two games i feel Mass Effect definitely has the edge. Halo come's off to me as very cartoonish and childlike. I never really cared about what what going on in the story, as none of it was very interesting. Basically once they forced me to play as the arbiter i became very disinterested in the whole thing, i couldn't even manage to finish Halo 3. It also seems to me that the majority of the online community consists of preteens and high school kids, and i have no interest in b...

Killzone 3 looks beautiful. I for one, can not wait to play it.

Yea but even last gen there were no patches/updates. You had to make the game as bug free as possible, and once it goes gold that it. it was what it was. Nowadays it seems developers rely on the online updates way too much and obviously the quality of games suffers.

If they simply put more time into testing the game BEFORE it gets pressed then we wouldn't have these problems.

Thats just ass backwards! I love how we can join our countries respective military at 18, and take bullets for them but we cannot drink until 21. Thats some bullshit.

The gamestop stores in my area wont sell my 14 year old brother M rated games, so in my experience they are handling it correctly. It all comes down to the parenting.

Drama? it was a simple statement, take it as you like.

Tell that to my friend who poured over 30 hours into this game to have his data corrupted and there are plenty of people having this same exact problem.

You can turn a blind eye to the lazy developers of this generation if you want to, but in reality this is unacceptable. We now live in a world where day 1 patches are accepted by gamers, and i feel that if we had better quality control instead of dev'...

My question is, why is this news? Games always leak early, this is nothing new to the industry. At the point that ANY disc goes gold, be it movies, music, or games, once it is physically pressed to disc, you can be certain that it will find its way onto the internet. What hurts the situation is that these FAKE gaming sites basically exploit the fact that the game has leaked just to get hits.

If it weren't for these articles most people would never even know. This same th...

Ok, but lets say that in the 90's you purchased that game originally, and now that cartridge may no longer work, or it may have been lost at some point over the years, is it still piracy??

How about a game like Earthbound, which is highly sought after, and may never be available for purchase due to it's pop culture references?? The only copies available consistantly sell for about $100, and how many people really still have a functioning SNES to play it on?

We have plenty of linear games as it stands. What we need is better games in general. Quality control in this generation of gaming has gone wayyyy downhill.

We now live in the world of rushed games, and the "Launch day update"
