I think people fail to realise that the DRM was one of MANY problems.

Kinect is next, hey if we managed to change this, we have the vocal power to do anything. Except world peace, hippies have tried that for decades but no ones budging but still...I'd say we keep going and get them to make some cheaper consoles without Kinect.

The PS3 was more expensive BECAUSE it was also a Blu ray player, they cost a fortune at the time.
Then we have blu ray discs people mocked and laughed at, then years later we were lucky because some devs had trouble fitting games onto the Xbox 360 discs. Hell who knows how many games could of had more content but was held back because they couldn't fit it onto a dvd type disc.

They are changing it, not evolving.
They are changing it into something which isn't a games console. When gaming is the last thing you think about with your console thats when you know it's trying to change.

Really, even though we have gamescom coming up where MS is never a big part of it anywhere and then TGS, basicaly spreading the announcments out all over this year
Then you have to think Sony have the PSV to worry about aswell...oh not to mention MS will never do this again. Next E3 will be crap, the games were just done because they wanted to try and trick gamers into buying into the DRM stuff....it never worked.

Are you joking, it's going to be problem either way. It's staring you in the face, literally. Plus it's going to make it so MS forces devs to use it in games where it's not needed or feels gimmicky/forced.
If they didn't include it in the box the price would go go. You would kill two birds with one stone...Kinect and the price problems.
