They ARE focusing on those games. Shawn said it's going to come, but not next week, next year or whatever. Maybe 2019? Maybe later. And you think that the software houses that are programming the games you quoted will stop making them if a PS5 was coming out? Why would they be "slower" at releasing them? Really, i'm not understanding your point of view.

Here where i live you can find it about everywhere, in about every mall you can go there and get one. In our Mediaworld (from Mediamarkt group) they're already applying discounts.

Well... ehm.... i see only reasons to get a normal PS4 instead of an Xbox One X: games, diversity of games, exclusives that you can play only on PS4 systems.... and the price.
Then if you have a good PC, you're set. PC + PS4 + Switch is the perfect entertainment kit.

I liked it. I liked the theater with all the special effects and the little orchestra at the beginning that introduced the uncharted DLC. Then it was all about games and that's what I wanted to see. But yes, when it finished i thought "that's it? Anything more?" Because i felt something was missing: maybe one extra new game, maybe a price cut, i don't know. But the games i saw were (almost all) marvelous. I discovered that GoW was running on a normal PS4, i can't ima...
This game is great, i'm playing it on PC. But it lacks end game content.. over all PVE content.
According to me they will follow the $399 line. It's been successful and in some year the new technology will be cheaper than now/next year. Powerful hardware with the perfect price, like the Ps4 when it launched.
But who knows... for sure they won't repeat the same mistakes made with the PS3.
