It's an opinion trash article, like many others. Someone will even claim that the XboneX killed this year. Everyone could say his/her console of choice won, in an opinion piece. I'm not saying the Switch did bad, absolutely. But won 2017? I don't think so. Lot of great news for Sony this year, from the sales to the games. In MY opinion piece, i would say that the PS4 won.
I don't really know, i could say PS4/Switch but i don't know which one to pick. I think that one completes the other one, i could say that, for me, it's a tie (i finally bought a Switch today with Mario Odyssey!). I won't abandon my Ps4 of course, i'll find time for both :P
P.S. i see the usual Xbone fanboys made up their circus show again with clown comments... incredible, almost sad.
no, but abandon the kid in front of the TV makes you that. I have so many examples of parents like that, my rage goes against those.

For a Microsoft fan, this was a great year for the Xbone.
For a Sony fan, this was a bad year for the Xbone.
From an objective point of view, things didn't go so well for Microsoft and, by the way, its system keeps getting outsold by the competition EVERYWHERE (PS4 and Switch). But the situation for MS isn't so catastrophic, at least for now. If the XboneX is a flop, then yes. If the gap gets bigger (in sales) among X and the others, then maybe. If PS4 and Switch con...

By the way, it's great GT is having the feature that many asked for. And for free. People that are going to buy the game now will get the full experience. And i'm not saying before it was bad, i've always thought it was a good game anyway, the single player career added a lot more value, according to me.

In that period there were a lot of PS+ discounts too. Some of them very good ones, people bought 2-3 subscriptions because of the discounts.
