The remake wasn't used "as a basis". Unless you mean something else, like "used as a model".
Since Rift Apart was built from the ground up for Ps5. And unless they remake the game, you won't see it on the PS4.

Well, i liked having the option to connect a second controller and play with a friend. And that didn't change the story. it was always story focused. I don't know why the multiplayer would be a problem, since it was just a "battle thing", you couldn't do anything else it you weren't the Player 1.
You couldn't notice the multiplayer part, if not in combat. Well, that option has gone :P Unless i'm misunderstanding something...
Damn... multiplayer :( I guess it's good for those who like this kind of games then, i hope it's a success ;)
I like Demon Slayer but... i keep seeing another copy of Naruto games. Nice moves and characters but Ninja Storm style. Wasn't it better if it was something like DBZ: Kakaroth but with Tanjiro and its story? I think they had enough of materials to make something like that.

When i said the game was horrible i got disagrees. But it seems i'm not the only one that thinks like that. I repeat: it was one of my most anticipated games, until i tried the demo and saw videos and reviews. Biggest disappointment for me of the 2021 (for now).

I'd really like a remake (maybe with the classic SH1 unlockable). Old good SH1 with modern graphics and some extras like more details of the story, new NPCs with new stories, new collectibles maybe.
But it's something so bad it can't be fixed? I mean... they say that a software update can fix it, right?

Sell out? I hope you're not talking about worldwide sales. Here in Italy you can get it almost everywhere. And i don't mean just Amazon or Ebay, i mean in the other stores too. You want it? Just open an online seller and get it.
Different story the X, sometimes it appears and stays available for a bit, besides in the biggest marketplace where it sells out fast.
