Sony did a huge risk with the Blu-Ray player add-on judging by the high price tag, delays for the PS3 and what not but it has surely paid off in the long run.

Solidus is by far the less selfish of the Snakes. Heck even Big Boss' had selfish reasons to his actions just as Liquid. He really wasn't a bad guy once you understand what his true intentions were, but if you side with Ocelot, you're siding with the devil in physical form.

Sony could easily just counter. Judging by the fact that IBM's testing a new cheaper 45nm chip, Sony could reduce there price on Blu-Ray players/ Playstation 3's if they want to. (More likely if Microsoft indeed decides to lower the 360, but now, I don't really see why they should lower there prices)
Other than that, what are you doing in the Gamer Zone? You're no gamer dude sorry...
The fact that Sony can easily send firmware updates to the PS3 really makes it more efficient than a standard Blu-Ray player.

Anyway the game seems to be pretty original. I might get it for the PSP though for the fact that you get a butt load of more stuff.
