Well, if it's €499 it can be a good price if the hardware reflects it. Some more interesting, good (exclusive) games and they have something good.
Playing it safe isn't helping MS very much. Sony is very known to back a lot of games, even the most weird ones or the most niche ones. Little Big Planet is a good example, Media Molecule went to MS first, but they found it to risky. Now we are 4 games further, and with Dreams? That is becoming a very huge niche game. MS would never do that.
And that's what makes Sony my choice, they have a lot of diversity in games, and takes risks.
I hope somewhere in EU or China.. Show the rest of the world.

The only problems I had was with framerate in certain areas and not remembering the Imo clunky controls ( but that's kinda their thing).

With what exactly? For now, it's only a boosted-up Xbox 1, without the big diverse games. And Spiderman is huge, how much you like to deny that. Without exclusives, the Scorpio is in the same field as the Pro, just optional. Of course coming E3, MS could shower us with games, but that seems highly likely. I love to be wrong though!
I rather have many games to choose from, then all those " flops".
My dad is 56 and is a gamer as long as I can remember... We would play Tombraider II together in the '90s. He on PC and me on my PS1. Good times :-)

And that is why hopefully this year, MS is gonna give me a reason to buy the Scorpio or even invest in them for my first time. Sea of thieves looks fun, cuphead look fun, but the rest isn't my cup of tea. So, show me the new ip's MS..
It's more the other way around. It's awesome you guys are getting new hardware, which means Sony has to push harder to in their next console. This "cycle of console-gen" is pretty much over for MS, they will never catch up in sales. Or do you really think millions of people are going to buy an Xbox all off a sudden? But the problem remains, the Xbox library isn't exclusive anymore, and even that big. So, all those precious Tflops, but no exclusives to show for it, or you...
Well, I prefer Sony over MS for a reason, and that's primarily for the games. I still have my launch PS4, no need for a Pro at the moment. If you look at MS, they miss that because all there games are also on PC or coming to PC. No need for the thing... If I bought the X1, I would be quite pissed off right know.
Besides, in a couple years the PS5 will come, and the whole circus will start again.
Pretty much this... Plus they have the whole 24 hours for themselfs for coverage and news for the Scorpio.

Bethesda will never do exclusives.. They will lose to much sales. Considering the installbase of PS4 vs Scorpio, besides the backlash would be huge if they for example would announce TES6 exclusive for Xbox Scorpio. And MS would have to dig deep for the loss of those sales, that's how it works. I rather see some good new fresh ip's, which could give me a reason to maybe actually buy the Scorpio.

Nier is gonna be awesome coming week. First Nier, then Horizon and Persona 5.
Maybe I'll play Zelda when the switch is way cheaper and their are more games on it besides Mario, Pokemon and Zelda.
