I'm sorry. I have played UC2 online for at least 60 hours. And have played the new Subway beta for about 12. I REALLY don't see the problem with hip firing. The recoil is tremendous but that's the only real difference to me. And the people who are complaining, haven't played this game long enough.
I never played the earlier beta, this is my first time with the game and I think its super fun. Don't see the problem...I REALLY don't, maybe I havent played with these players yet.

Console port much? 60 FPS cap, $60 price tag, and this "texture problem?" Yeah right, the mouse is faster than a analog stick so while you move the slow analog stick textures lose detail behind you that you cannot see. With a mouse you see this. Console port. Still a good game though.
I played Caspian Border on a private server, its 100% better than Operation Metro. WHY they chose that buggy, glitchy mess of a map for the beta is beyond me. I had no glitches with Caspian Border besides texture problems, which could have easily been my computer.
If only some other games did this....

I don't want to run Origin at the same time as Steam... It eats RAM and it's just annoying. I have the Steam + Steam Overlay + Origin + Origin Overlay + BF3 Game + Web Browser (for battlelog) all eating RAM at the same time. They are separate processes in the task manager. My web browser eats 200 MB of RAM while watching a mere youtube video. With the BF3 plugin it will probably be more...

I just put to the test what you said. I am fairly decent at UC3 and when I hip fired, it didn't lock on, I had to sway the analog stick and it just flew over an enemy, it didnt lock on.
