From what i know there arent any smaller modes in the main game. Ofcourse with portal mode we will have smaller modes but there we can turn off the bots anyway.
You can just stick to the portal servers that don't cross era's. Im sure there will be plenty of them.
Can you still turn up gamespeed to x2 like before?

Agree but these are much larger maps and take way more time to make than 10 bf4 maps.
They could literally make 6 TDM or smaller game mode maps from 1 conquest map now.
