Look as a huge rareware fan. Even I can say sea of thieves is not a 8/10. Don't get me wrong the Base of the game is a 10/10 but there isn't enough to do .... yet. If rare keeps their promises the game could one day be the game we hope it to be. But... that's the issue were buying a game on hope. ITs an early access game that couldn't be marketed as a early access game due to the fact a major studio is working on it and no one would be ok with a AAA game being early access.

Gratuitous micromanagement adds nothing to the game.
AI is ridiculously aggressive and makes diplomacy impossible.
Poor controls make difficult micromanagement worse than it already was.
Pacing makes the game a hectic chore.
So... minus poor controls (which I'm sad to hear they didn't update) the cons are things that fans of the series like?
oddly there wasn't any microtranactions mentioned in the interview the article is talking about... only mention of free dlc on launch. and maybe some potential dlc for new skills down the line.
100% it. Loved it. But the articles making this game to be the next best thing since sliced bread are wrong. Most reviews got it right. It was average at everything it did. And that is no way a bad thing either.
Well hopefully capcom gets the message make a bad game get underperforming sales

Exactly the game sets out what it wanted to do. While not going above and beyond. Which is great 7 and c is passing as a good fun game
I love the game... but I can say the 7 to 8 review score is justified... the game is average and that isn't a bad thing. It scratched all my itchs... even down to its bad writing. Just cause its what I wanted does not mean its a bad thing some people just enjoy average things.

From the sound of it... the plan is one game a year for 3 years... then merge all games together... so basically number 2 is an expansion and a standalone game
