Hey if this comes with my kids meal free, I'm down. My kids like stupied games, keeps them busy for a couple of hours on a raining day.
Ati wins this round. (Eyefinity rules!!!)
I have had no issues with drivers from ATI.
I own both ati/nvidia (2 rigs). The only issue i have had lately, is the issue with nvidia drivers(burned up a 8800 gtx).
Right now I would like to see prices drop on both brands, then all of us would be winners.
Got done watching the trailer. I think I'm gonna get sick. ;0~
I wanna see the pic's, hehe

"The company will continue offering support and RMA services for all BFG cards still in circulation."

Field of view on the T.V. no matter the size = one monitor alone. Eyefinity Field of view is scaleable to your preference. The Field of view in games is what its all about, and just having a large TV (42,55,65,100 inch) will just give you whiplash, but not the field of view of Eyefinity.
Check it out live, not through pictures. Also I stack my borders, I don't set them side by side and straight like alot of pictures of EF. I am only intereted in 3 monitors landscape, I think 6 is a bit too much atm. If I had six, I wouldn't stack them like in the pic either, I would have them all in portrait.
I agree
"Now, for anyone whom maybe wondering exactly why OnLive chose BT, well it’s pretty simple, BT have the biggest line coverage in the whole of the UK. Sky have around 88% where as other companies are lagging behind"
This article is more a rant against BT. If I was Onlive, I would prolly done the same. What choice you have? Especially just starting up....Thing's can change down the line once
A: The service is a success.
B: They actually ...
mmm I disagree, it wasnt till window 98se was a big hit. They had enough competition with apple then.
I remember when the schools all had apple IIe's, then by high school they were macs. I hated both at the time and went with vic 20/ Commodore 64 till 3dfx made windows fun with games. Then again my memory is aging and I got it all wrong. Aging suck!!!!
:)
I Dig this concept, not bad for a prototype. I'd want a wider view, but I get the idea he is trying to demo. Especially when you are using surround sound.
Update: It's not as clear-cut of a statement as we'd probably, but Microsoft has responded via email, telling G4, "Syed Bilal Tariq is not a [Microsoft] employee... He is a vendor employed through a third-party company on behalf of the Microsoft subsidiary in Saudi Arabia." Sure, that downplays his realm of knowledge, but it doesn't completely discredit. No comment was given as to the October date. At least E3's a few hours closer now, right?

I'm gonna wait a year or two before I invest or jump into 3D. I like it in theaters watching movies, but not too excited to bring it home yet. I feel like it just a new fad, I remember it in the 80's and it died out quick...( Jaws 3D, Micheal Jacksons movie in Epcot center I think it was called Moonwalker...)
"With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations--none of which I know how to work--information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,"
Don't forget the Ipod gifts he gave other leaders around the world.....
Interesting. Gonna have to keep an eye on this ;)
“. . .We believe consumers that choose to purchase GTX 480/470 are more focused on performance instead of how much extra watts they consume. To pay a little higher electricity bill in exchange for 10% more in performance, I believe consumers will think this is a worthwhile trade.”
If your a teenager or kid then they will think this is a worthwhile trade. If your an adult and paying for your own electric.... no its not a worthwhile trade for just 10% increase performance....
...
I can P farther than any console player!!!!!
;)
I was addicted at the beginning, till they released Burning Crusade.
I'm still playing it and I can't wait till this patch hits!!!!
Fort battles are awesome...
I'm testing this as we speak.
I have no lag, and its a lot better than I was thinking this service was gonna be.
One feature I like is watching others, theirs some games I really don't want to play, but I'm interested in watching others.
This is running very smooth on my comp. This just being released and up and running with no bugs atm for me, I could easily see how this is gonna take off - If affordable....
