Sony basically showed why they are the best video game company. They brought games and showed them while others don't even know when a new console that is launching this year is going to be release or what the price will be. Sony showed that they have software to cater to all and not just some. They sorted hardcore, casuals, and the soso.
That's why Sony PlayStation is the best. They provide quality for all and not just some. Financial analysts and non gamers would say other -wise and that's ok because they aren't gamers. Gamers in the know knows the truth though. Try to get an experience like heavy rain, gow, kz, gt5, uc3 and others on a Nintendo platform and you'll be wasting time. The PlayStation though has games similar to Mario kart, Zelda, Mario , halo, forza and other big name franchises on other systems...
I believe the vita will outdo the 3ds in everyway even though it doesnt seem like it. The softwares are coming and they are coming in abundance. 3ds is out very strong at the moment but there is only so much Mario and Zelda titles Nintendo can make a year. Sony was never screwed and was only seen that way by imbeciles. There is a time and place for most things and Sony has to spread out announcements for different video game shows. Notice how Nintendo and Microsoft didn't have anything to announce or show? Im quite sure Sony will have another show at tgs to announce new things.

Why I like some games and dislike others
Sony is the best gaming company. I don't say that because they make a handful of familiar games yearly or because they cater to only casuals or hardcore. I say it because they cater to all with high quality exclusive software and high quality hardware.
Some will disagree because of sales but one wouldn't have to ponder why they would think that except to cite their reasoning which is telling.

Best gaming platform now is a PS3. It has a lot of beautiful and tech advanced gamed of all genres. Most ps3 games and experiences aren't available elsewhere. I love pc because of its potential and advance tech but most games don't make use of pc advance hardware. Apart from MAG on ps3 bf3 imo is an amazing shooter when played on ultra.

People didn't know the specs of the Wii and was touting how its 4 times as powerful as a Xbox 1 when Nintendo already demoed games which looks similar to ps2 games. I remember Nintendo reps were saying its powerful.
